This hostel is in an ideal location, with Lake Bourget 200 m away and not far from some of the best areas of the Alps. The dorm rooms are clean, with a sink and mirror in the foyer leading to the beds; showers are down the hall, along with toilets.
The hostel is utilized by various youth camps during the summer, so dealing with young children is a necessity. Along those lines, noise levels tend to reverberate throughout the hostel when they are there.
The breakfast was like most hostels, bread, jam, cereal, milk, orange juice and coffee. Depending on whether or not there are groups present at the hostel, dinner may or may not be available for a fee. The internet was expensive when compared to other hostels, but they did have a tv in a common room setting.
The big "back yard" and ping pong table presented plenty of opportunity to get out and enjoy the scenery. Overall, a very nice hostel.
