Black & White Porto Hostel

Highly Recommended! Five Star Hostel!
I will admit I was very skeptical at first given that there is currently no sign or markings of any sort on the building, however, once inside it is very nice. It's clear that the owner and employees have worked hard to create a unique decor and to make sure that guests feel at home and have great showers/bathrooms/kitchen. Entire hostel is very clean and orderly. Everyone I met was very helpful and full of information about transportation and sight seeing, and how to enjoy the area while still on a budget. Weather was fantastic during my stay and I loved beautiful Porto and the Black & White Hostel. I'd definitely stay here again if/when I return to Portugal.

Great place to stay!
The rooms and bathrooms are always clean, the staff is extra friendly, and breakfast is great. The only "problem" is that the rooms are not very spacious, so you always end up in a crowd. We booked two beds in a dorm with eight beds, but ended up in a dorm with ten beds. But otherwise, I had a great time there!
