i think that the hostel would be better at all, but it isn't so bad. location is great, there is hot (really hot) water in showers, a kitchen with many facilities such as pots, pans. rooms are ok -- mine had a table, wardrobe, and a little cupboard. it was really nice. i met many interesting people there.

I would not recommend this hostel. We made reservations months in advance, received e-mail confirmation several times, and had already paid a deposit. However, on arrival at the Stargate Hostel to check in, we were told that we had not made reservations and that there was no way we could stay at the Hostel Termini. When we protested, the employees at the check-in proceeded to swear at us in Italian and make rude comments. I would not advise anyone to stay here.

This hostel was a joke, the rooms are pretty spacious, but the bathrooms stink! We had 3 bathrooms near our room and only 1 of them worked. They would stink up the hallway. I don't recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Rome.
