It sucks. Bad service, no friendly personnel. Annik is terrible. The whole day, her presence weighs like stone on atmosphere. Don't go. It is clean, but lots of hidden rules.

The hostel is clean and nicely kept, however they neglect to tell you that there is a light cut out every night at 12 a.m. It was quite funny at first but got annoying as the 5 days went on! It's quite hard to brush your teeth in the pitch black!
The lockout wasn't really a problem, and they have now changed it to end at 3 p.m. not 5 p.m., which is much better. It has friendly and helpful staff but don't get on the wrong side of Annouk—ha ha.
Overall though, it's a clean place to stay but on the downside it is a little cramped and there's no Internet, plus it's quite strict. Oh and you've got to walk up a lot of hilly streets to get to it so not suitable for the less athletic!

I have been there twice. I found it a good clean simple place, which is well run. It is orderly — sometimes with a remarkable spark of imagination in the way it is done.
