Non-smoking. Dog friendly. Midge-free. Secluded 11 mile beach & dunes.
Try visiting our isolated former lighthouse shore station in the most easterly part of mainland Scotland, opposite the northern tip of Denmark. Our nearest neighbours are about a mile away in one of Scotland's driest, sunniest, midge-free areas which is also the closest part of the UK mainland to Norway, Sweden and Finland.
We operate a Green Business and reduce, reuse, and recycle packaging wherever possible. To keep our carbon emissions to a minimum, we use green-electricity and carbon-neutral central heating fuelled by a log boiler, and there is a log fire in the lounge. We actively promote environmental awareness wherever possible.
The price includes tea, coffee, and orange drink, and you can entertain yourself with our bookswap library.
We have a Newfoundland and Golden Retriever, so your dog is welcome whatever the size. All we ask is that your dog is housetrained and reasonably clean and dry when indoors, just as we expect of our dogs.
