Villa Morazzana was built around 1765 and beginning from 1894 it was inhabited from the famous singing artists Gemma Bellincioni and Roberto Stagno, first interpretes, in 1890, of Mascagni's opera "Cavalleria Rusticana".
In the villa their daughter Bianca was born and she became a famous lyric singer too; she was baptized in the contiguos chapel, where she returned in order to celebrate her marriage with editor Ricordi's son.
In 1977 all the property was bought from the Common of Leghorn that, after doing an intense restoration work, succeded in giving back its integrity to this wonderfull noble residence of the ‘700.
The fronts show a simple and sober style that joins together the refined taste of the nineteenth century liberty with the solidity of the structure. It is palpable through the refined wrought iron veranda, that is occupied at the upper extremity by a characteristic passable balcony, decorated with elegant worked banister.

Villa Morazzana is situated on Leghorn's hills, in an oasis of quiet very near the sea. Even if it is not considered a traditional touristic destination, our structure is the ideal starting point for trips all over the most famous cities of tuscany like Firenze, Pisa, Siena and the islands of archipelago.
More simply, Villa Morazzana can be a place where relax, reading a book among the trees of the big garden, tasting one of the famous wines of Costa degli Etruschi.
Recently Villa Morazzana has been restructured, creating a place of magic atmosphere. In this exceptional contex several services are offered: hotel, hostel, meeting center, reception-room and restaurant.
People who choose Villa Morazzana for professional reasons, as meetings or conferences, will find in this structure peculiar rooms and an efficient service, able to transform a working moment in a pleasant opportunity.
From 2004 Villa Morazzana is entered in the A.I.G. circuit (Hostels of Youth Association) and in the Hostelling International.
HOTEL
The side of the villa destined to hotel is made up of 11 rooms with private bathroom and television; from some of them it is possible to enjoy a wonderfull sea-view that, at sunset, becomes a very beautiful sight.
Two of these rooms have a wide bathroom for disabled people.
The ornaments, different for each room, make them exclusive and welcoming.
HOSTEL
The side destined to hostel is made up of 2 dormitories separated Male/Female, 5 family-rooms (4-6 beds) and 3 family-rooms (2-4 beds).
The offered service is comfortable and, with a little expense, it allows to enjoy a delightful place with a private garden.
