A Victorian Lakeland slate country house on the edge of Coniston Village. Within walking distance of Coniston Water and mountains on the doorstep. Ideal for mountain biking, walking, climbing, horse riding, sailing, kayaking and canoeing.
Located in the heart of Beatrix Potter country and famous for Donald Campbell's Bluebird water speed records.
Excellent food prepared using local produce, with local ales, organic wines and Fairtrade tea and coffee available.

Localización	From the north [Ambleside] direction the hostel is signposted to the right as you approach the village immediately after a large double bend with green metal railings. This is opposite the Hawkshead turning. From all other directions leave the centre of the village on the Ambleside road; about 300m from the centre the hostel is signposted up the lane to the left [opposite the Hawkshead turning and immediately before green railings]. Walking routes are available from neighbouring hostels, please ask for further details. If travelling by public transport there are bus connections from Ulverston or Windermere railway stations – for details please ask or use the Cumbria journey planner website at www.travelcumbria.org.uk.
