Localización• We are near the city's main street Via Espana, just off the Via Argentina and behind famous Restaurante El Trapiche so we are not hard to find. You can take a taxi from most places for less than $2, just direct the driver 150m down the lane next to El Trapiche. We are above the Spanish school (www.spanishpanama.com).
• If you are coming down Via España by bus, get off at Blockbuster Video, go right up Via Argentina, to Restaurante El Trapiche and take a right down Calle G, go 7 buildings to Building Anita.

1   Noisy because of nearby construction -- unsympathetic management Stayed end of May 2008. Was there for Spanish school but my room was too loud for study because of noise from a high rise under construction directly across the street. Management basically said too bad. School was pretty noisy too since it's in the same building.  , USA ()
5  Anita's Inn seems like a higher end hostel, certainly cleaner than most places we've been to, and friendlier. The bilingual service is well appreciated. The people are nicer and more educated than your typical backpacker place perhaps because you run into Spanish students from the partner school downstairs with a serious interest in culture and knowing Panama. We enjoyed the free salsa lessons for spanish students and hostel guests, ask Joseph about this. Via Argentina is the best street, impressive. I also loved having "dog duty." I took Friday, the house dog, for walks 3 times a day. The internet profile is really true. If you are thinking about moving to Panama, then this is the perfect place to start getting aquainted with Panama City. Best wishes to all my pals there. Michael E. Griffith Arizona, USA  ()
