HI - Ljubliana Alibi Rooms Hostel

my god..please don't take pictures on website for real..there is ONLY one dormitory that look like a TRAP!! you don't have space for nothing.It's very very small, whit only one bathroom,small. There are more and more and more beds that are on the official pictures!!! BUT IN THE SAME SMALL SPACE!!!!..the price (20 euros) is too expensive.really. Please don't go on it. sorry for my english.

I've just spent the last few days at this hostel — one of the worst hostel experiences ever. I booked a six-bed room over a month ago, got there and we were crammed into a 20-bed dorm instead — beds had obviously been stuck wherever there was space — total fire hazard. No reduction in quoted price of 20 euros and no apology — the manager was rude and dismissive. Over 40 people sharing two toilets and two showers, no hot water for most. No common room or Internet access as advertised. I couldn't sleep last night for staff shouting. Very expensive for what you get – book somewhere else if you can.

I stayed here for one night. It's quite a long way from the center of Ljubljana but if you ride into town don't take a cab because they will rip you off and the hostel staff try to get you to take these taxis. We paid five times more than the bus for a taxi and were dropped off at the wrong place. The hostel is very clean and people are friendly. There are few toilets and showers so they are in demand and get dirty easily. Even so, they were acceptable at all times.

Good place to stay. It's a little way out of town but a good all-round hostel. It has good facilities and it's easy to mix with people, although the Chill Out Zone is a bit of floor with a couple of mats and small lights!
