Welcome to Kadetus Hostel and Kadetus Plus,

We are located in the heart of Krakow, between the Wawel Royal Castle - a root of Polish tradition and history, and the Market Square - the centre of Krakow's culture and entertainment. This makes Kadetus a great starting point for exploring treasures that Krakow has to offer. Forget about spending money on buses and taxis. Everything that you may care to see is within a walking distance from our place. Kadetus Hostel is surrounded by old historical houses on one side and modern apartment buildings on the other. The house in which our hostel is situated was built in mid-19th century and Kadetus is a place where classical elegance merges with comfortable modern interior designs. The unique atmosphere of this place has already made many of our guest come back to us after a while.

Initially, Kadetus Hostel consisted of big rooms located on the first floor with typical hostel standard. With time, we adapted for lodging still more rooms on the second level, while the initial section underwent a thorough renovation.

Applying the experience we gained, we have adjusted our offer to the demands of all the travelers visiting Krakow. Presently, we have the pleasure of inviting our guests to:

Kadetus Hostel - a set of rooms (from 2 to 5 beds) varying in décor and size, on the first floor. It also includes the only dorm we have, called "Joker Room". The dorm owes its name to our considerable and still growing collection of joker cards and to playful, game-like interior style. You can help us make our collection bigger! Bring along a joker card we don't have and you will get a 5% off your accommodation charge.and a peek at our album too!

Kadetus PLUS - a set of ensuite bedrooms with high-standard furnishings. We have twin rooms with double and single beds. Moreover, our offer includes rooms for 3, 4 or 5 people, which is a perfect solution for larger groups of friends or families with children. Each of the rooms is fitted with a bathroom, full furniture, a satellite TV and an Internet socket. This set of rooms occupies the entire second floor of the building.

On each floor our visitors will find a common room that blends with a spacious kitchen compartment, at their disposal 24/7. There are two PCs with free Internet access any time. All Kadetus rooms are within range of wireless connection WiFi.

At Kadetus Hostel comfort, security and guests' peace of mind are our priorities. The premises are monitored and the reception is open around the clock. Our staff is ready to provide you with any assistance you may require. Whether you need a quick info about the museum's opening hours or some help with organizing a tour outside Krakow, you can count on us! The amateurs of nightlife will follow the scent of it down to the Old Town, with over 400 pubs, clubs, cafes and restaurants - and just a 5-10-minute walk away! When in doubt where to go out, ask our well-informed receptionist for a recommendation. There is definitely plenty to choose from in Krakow, so you will be sure to make Krakow a delightful experience.

In the past two years there has gathered a group of people around the hostel who became something like a family. Some of our guests mention this feeling when they write in our visitor's book that at Kadetus Hostel they felt "home when away". Also, couples traveling with children will appreciate this family atmosphere.

• By foot About 20-minute walk along the route marked on the map (from the square outside the Main Train Station and Galeria Krakowska walk down the tunnel to the other side of the street, past the J. Slowacki Theatre, down Pijarska and Florianska Streets to the Market Square, then acroos the Square by the Town Hall Tower, down Wislna St. to Planty. Ńext, walk across Straszewskiego St. by the Filharmonia concert hall, down Zwierzyniecka St. to number 25 where we are located).
• By taxi The best option is a call, the fare should cost 10-15 zl. (Beware of the taxis parked just outside the station, they are unassociated and charge more for the ride)

• By tram or bus from DWORZEC GŁÓWNY stop
• Bus 502, direction BIEŻANÓW NOWY, get off at 2nd stop - FILHARMONIA and walk down Zwierzyniecka St.
• Tram 2, direction SALWATOR, get off at 3rd stop, walk past the Filharmonia concert hall to Zwierzyniecka St.
• From the Balice airport:
• By car You can book an airport pick - up in our Hostel by e-mail.
• Prices:
• 1-4 people: 60 zl
• 5-8 people: 70 zl
• By train from the main entrance to the Balice Aiport by bus to train station, and than by train to the Main Railway Station in Cracow
• By bus number 192, get off at "CRACOVIA"stop, than walk to the traffic lights and cross the street with 6 car lanes (ther is another traffic lights with two car lanes), you should be now on the corner of PIŁSUDSKIEGO Street and KRASIŃSKIEGO Avenue. Turn right and walk along the KRASIŃSKIEGO Avenue more or less 400 meters and turn left into ZWIERZYNIECKA Street and you'll find our hostel and you'll find our hostel on your left.
