Backpackers1770 is situated in beautiful sub-tropical Agnes Water, only minutes walk from the surf beach and shops. We are a small, friendly establishment offering spacious dorms with large en-suites and a clean modern kitchen. This is a great place to relax with outdoor hammocks, lounges and sunchairs available where you can unwind.
We can arrange all tours including the famous 60km $39 scooteroo tour, $16.50 surf lessons, $30 3 hour ocean kayaks inc. lunch, fly a 4 seater cessna for $75 and ride on the only commercially operated thundercat surf racing boat on the planet for $49!! This area has so much to offer that you need at least 3 days to experience these exciting activities.
We also offer free 4wd tours of the area every morning plus we can arrange all your local tours plus Fraser Island and Whitsundays packages.

| Localización | •Agnes Water is a small coastal town about 1.2 hours from both Gladstone and Bundaberg. Nearby is the gorgeous little Town of 1770 - the birthplace of Queensland. It is also the gateway to the pristine southern Great Barrier Reef including Lady Musgrave Island and Fitzroy Reef. • McCafferty's Greyhound bus: 1800 076211 will drop you to our door or we will pick up from the bus stop depending on the service. McCafferty's Greyhound bus passengers going north will also be picked up from this hostel every evening for free and taken to the Fingerboard turnoff where you will be met by your coach. Oz Experience and Premier will drop you about 30km from Agnes Water and we can organise for you to be picked up for a small fee. • If you are driving from the south avoid going via Gin Gin as it adds about 80km's to your trip. Bundaberg is definately the quickest option. |
