Localización	Shantz Haus Hostel is located in the heart of downtown Courtenay on Vancouver Island, BC. Courtenay is located mid Island along the East Coast (interior) of the Island just off the main highway (#19. To get to the Island there are ferries (BC Ferries) from Vancouver on the Mainland that sail several times a day and land in Naniamo and Victoria. From these locations you can either catch a bus or the train that runs once a day. As well the Comox Valley has its own airport with a few flights arriving from several Canadian Cities daily.
