Backpackers Newcastle provides clean friendly accommodation on a budget. The hostel provides free pickup and drop off at transport terminals, doubles singles and dorm rooms, TV lounge and video, reading room, 2 kitchens, BBQ area, solar heated swimming pool, ISD telephone + internet facilities, coin-op laundry, table tennis, pool table and close proximity to everything. We have free surf lessons, free body boards and surfboard hire. We visit the beach daily in our minibus. Close by is a 24 hour supermarket and Newcastle best restaurant street. We are 1 block off the main street near the Newcastle Regional Museam. Therefor the location is quiet and very easy for car parking. Our friendly staff will ensure you have a wonderful stay. | Localización | •Inform the hostel of your arrival time and they will have their minibus ready to pick you up.
• If you are driving from Sydney, take the main exit stating "NEWCASTLE" (only) and follow for approx 13 km into the city. You will cross a railway bridge just before Beaumont Street, Turn right on Beaumont St and left at the Exchange Hotel (Pasta at the PUB). You are now on Denison St. The hostels is just after the Ambulance Station but on the left. (The city is just one more block down).
• If you are in the city the hostel is behind the regional museum and not far from BI-LO and the 24 hour Mobil Petrol Station is on the hostel's corner. |
