Mountain Hut Landmannalaugar

The huts are the ideal resting places when travelling in the wilderness. There are 34 huts owned by The Iceland Touring Association and its subdivisions. They are open all year round and the largest ones have wardens during high season. Those with confirmed reservations have a higher priority so it is important to make reservation in advance if you want to have a certain place to stay. The table below lists facilities in the huts. If there are no symbols you should expect minimum facilities which are; bunkers with mattresses, a stove, primitive toilet (latrine) and water supply in the vicinity.

Price: Sleeping bag accommodation in Categ. A; Members 1.200 per person per night. Non-members 1.700 per person per night. Sleeping bag accommodation in Categ. B; Members 1.100 per person per night. Non-members 1.600 per person per night. Categ. C; is 850 ISK for members pr. night and 1.100 ISK for non members pr. night.
Camping; Members 500 per person per night. Non-members 600 per person per night. Use of facilities (visitors who don´t spend the night) 200 per person.
