This cosy, friendly and relaxed hostel is an urban oasis in the heart of North Melbourne. Close to public transport and conveniently located near the Melbourne Zoo, Queen Victoria Market and Lygon Street restaurants, Melbourne Oasis is the perfect base for your next city visit.
Sample Melbourne's trendy bars, cafés and restaurants, experience unique shopping in hidden laneways, or simply "chill out" and meet fellow travellers in the hostel's sunny gazebo garden with its recycled timber benches, herb garden and BBQ area.
Melbourne Oasis YHA welcomes individuals, couples, families and groups of all ages. The hostel puts an emphasis on guest comfort and privacy, an impressive 80% of the rooms are twin-share and the largest dorm has only five beds. Guests also enjoy the convenience of an on-site laundry, off-street parking, internet café, two fully-equipped kitchens and two communal lounges, one with widescreen TV.
Melbourne Oasis YHA staff are always on hand to ensure your stay is a happy one, providing regular pancake breakfasts, movie nights, wine and cheese night and bike hire. There is also a tour booking service in the hostel to give advice, book your day tour and transfers or the next leg of your journey.
