Welcome to the cleanest hostel in South America. Bright and beautifully painted rooms with comfortable beds, wooden floors, and a coat tree. Most rooms are twins, but quads and doubles are also available. There are shared or private bathrooms with hotwater (best in the afternoon). Breakfast is available for 10 bolivianos and you can arrange to have it at whatever time you like. Also the hostel provides an overnight laundry service.
The lounge room is bright and has cable TV. But if staying indoors watching the Champions League isn´t your cup of tea, try the market on Thursdays, which is mostly for the locals but you can pick up some lovely handwoven bags or buy some cheap travel nessecities. Walking the back streets is an interesting experience, but avoid going there at night. The trips to the Salar are a once in a life time experience, and very close to the town, otherwise Unyuni is a little dull and hard to get out of! Get your bus or train tickets early.
The staff/owners are wonderful and will go out of their way to help you. They also can find cheaper tickets for your onward journey.
If you are a single person you may often get your own room at no extra cost, nice for a change.
Located at the end of the main street this hostel is close to everything. Tours of the Salar can be arranged by owners also, with pick-up from the front door.
