An original stately home featuring much of its magnificent original woodwork is the setting for this luxurious hostel located among trees near the city centre.Sweeping views of the city and sea from the balconies upstairs.Double rooms,Twin rooms,and 4-5 share rooms with real beds,not bunks.Free breakfast,free tea coffee and sugar.Our kitchen has everything one needs to prepare a gourmet meal with free herbs and spices.There is a spa pool outside which is free to use 24hours a day.There are Guitars and Piano free for musicians to play.TV and video lounge.Largest International book exchange in New Zealand.
A place to relax in and a base to explore the most interesting city in New Zealand,rich in art and culture,which enjoys 2500 hours of sunshine per year..Further afield are the Abel Tasman,Kahurangi and Nelson Lakes national parks.
