The Shapleigh Bunk House provides low-cost lodging and breakfast for hikers and other visitors. It is located on the grounds of the Appalachian Mountain Club's Highland Center Lodge which is a full-service lodge with both shared and private rooms. The rate includes a bed with clean linens, towel, shower, and a full breakfast. A pantry with fridge, microwave, and sink are available for use. There is no stove available.

Localización	•The Appalachian Mountain Club's Shapleigh Bunk House is located on NH Route 302 in Crawford Notch between the towns of Twin Mountain, NH to the west, and Bartlett, NH to the east. It is easily accessible from US Route 93 and is an excellent base of operations for hiking the White Mountains of New Hampshire including Mount Washington and the Presidential Range. • Approaching from South: • I-93 North through Franconia Notch to Exit 35: Route 3 North to Twin Mountain. Stay on Rt. 3 to the traffic light in Twin Mountain. Take a right onto Rt. 302 East,15 miles on left. • OR • I-93 North to the Kancamagus Highway (112) in Lincoln. Go east on 112. Take Bear Notch Rd. to Bartlett. Turn left onto Rt. 302, 7 miles on right. • I-91 North to Exit 17: Route 302 (Woodsville, NH). Stay on Route 302 all the way to campground. On left, about 15 miles east of Twin Mountain. • Route 16/ 302 Take Route 16 North through North Conway. 16 will turn right in Glen and 302 continues straight. Stay on 302 for 14 miles. Campground on the right. • Approaching from North: • I-91 South to I-93 South at St. Johnsbury, VT. Take I-93 Exit 40: Route 302 East towards Bethlehem. Stay on Route 302 to campground (about 15 miles east of Twin Mountain).
