Welcome to Anchorage International Hostel ... located in the heart of Alaska's largest city, nestled between the Chugach Mountains and Cook Inlet. Anchorage International's convenient downtown location allows visitors easy access to bus, train and national park shuttle services.
Our location is also just blocks from many important points of interest. Whether your interest is hiking, nordic skiing, wildlife viewing, snowshoeing, rafting, dog mushing, snowmobiling, northern lights, golfing, flightseeing, fishing, canoeing, downhill skiing, performing arts, Alaska's Native culture, panning for gold, kayaking, baseball, birdwatching, fine cuisine, hockey, Fur Rendezvous, Iditarod Trail sled dog race, whale watching, snowboarding, bicycling, wildlife and glacier cruises, museums, nightlife, or shopping -- ALASKA HAS IT ALL -- and many of these activities can be day trips from our Anchorage International Downtown location.
