Living with bugs
If you want to be bitten by fleas this is the perfect place! I have never slept in such dirty sheets and they are supposed to be cleaned every day! I wish you enjoy the stings!

Great Hostel!
This hostel was great. The staff were very friendly and always interested in hearing about your day and providing travel tips. The location is nice with a 5 minute walk to the beach.

Pretty Good
Great communal hang-out-zone with a communal kitchen. Great place to meet fellow travelers. The beds were comfortable and clean, and there were many showers to use. The staff and owner were very nice and welcoming. Great place to stay!

Great
I arrived there for two nights and stayed for seven. Ivan, our serbian host, is a great guy. Great place to meet other single travelers, a kitchen to use, and a good location make this one of the best. Very simple, but cheap.

Book Online!
I stayed at this hostel for three nights and just turned up rather than booking online, as I knew there were plenty of beds. Beware, don't do this! If you book online you will be put in a normal six- or eight-bed dorm with a key for the door. If you turn up you will be sleeping either in a very cramped eighteen-bed dorm or on the roof or floor or wherever the owner feels like putting you (even though the smaller dorms are empty)! There are no locks on the doors and no fans in the big dorm. It is hot so you have to leave the windows open (which have no security screens and let all the mosquitoes in). There is absolutely no security at this hostel, anyone can walk in and out and take things. Showers and toilets are in a separate block like a camping ground. However, hostel is in a good location and has limited cooking facilities (tables, pots, one gas burner), cheap breakfast, internet, tour information, and clotheslines for washing. Also a very nice social atmosphere at nights.

Fantastic
Rooms dorm-style like most hostels. Social area provided indoors and outdoors. Internet, cooking, bar. Hospitality unmatched.

Best thing about this hostel is the common area and the friendly staff. We stayed in a 6 bed dorm, and it had no aircon. During August, this is not recommended for the faint hearted. Bathrooms were clean. The "kitchen" from what we gathered, was a portable gas camping cooker, and a fridge. It was super busy at the time we were there, which was their excuse for not being able to provide us with sheets (if you can believe that), but at that point we were too tired to care. The rooms weren't all that clean either. No lockers in the rooms, but they did offer a safe for valuables. Very good location.

I stayed here in June 2005 and had a great time. The city is beautiful, and the hostel is top-notch and welcoming. Good facilities, lots of character, and many friendly travelers to meet.
