Attractive, friendly
If you don't mind sleeping in a dorm and you like to meet some nice (young) people. this is a good and relaxing hostel to stay when visiting Athens for a few days, even for an older person like me (forty-three). It is a clean place, there is this very nice atmosphere, and the staff are the best. When in Athens, someday, I will certainly go there again!

Great Experience
Well kept hostel, with a TV room, propane two-burner, and an open air feel in the lobby, plus cool plants, cute daughters, and a philosophy board. this was a great experience.

As much as the hostel was clean and the staff very friendly i had one major problem. I was eaten alive by bedbugs! And this is no exaggeration. What made it worse was the poor nights sleep i had, as there were people using the stairs that were coughing like they were on death's door and slamming doors and whatnot. As much as the people were nice, they should really spend some cash and upgrade the mattresses.

This place is awesome! Yes you pay 50c for hot water, but you get good hot water for 7mins. The rooms are basic but clean. The staff are friendly and the neighbourhood is wonderful. The kitchen is basic but works for easy diners and the bakery around the corner is fabulous. For the price (E12) its the best hostel in Athens.

Very recommendable place to stay in Athens. Very cheap, very clean, very friendly staff. Rooms are basic but clean, showers and toilets are very small but kept tidy. We did not receive blankets, just sheets for the mattress and the pillow. Luckily we did bring our sleeping bags, as the nights were unusually cold for beginning of September.

This nice hostel was a savior to us after a nightmare stay in another hostel/hotel in Athens. Pros: + Staff is friendly + The place is colorful + It's located in a very good neighborhood. + There's a kitchen with refrigerator + It's easy to reach from the center (Syntagma) by trolley bus. Syntagma can be reached by Metro from the train station. Cons: - Some showers are broken - Some showers do not serve hot water though it costs 50 cents (the machine works but the hot shower doesn't). - Toilets have no seats to sit on.

As a 60-year-old lady unexpectedly stuck in Athens recently for a couple of nights, I found this hostel comfortable, friendly and helpful. A seven-minute hot shower is very adequate, especially for Greece, where hot running water — or water at all sometimes when the weather gets very hot — is maybe not to be so taken for granted as in other countries. Above all the consensus of everyone there when I was, is that this is a very safe hostel. You can leave your pack there while you go out and enjoy Athens and not have to worry about it. It is also very, very clean.

I was also here during the Olympics, and I have to say the prices for that time were reasonable. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the place is kept as clean as possible. The 50-cent showers were okay, I guess, allowing the right amount of time to quickly soap and shampoo. The water is hot, so no complaints there. Sheets are provided and in good condition. The location was about 15 minutes into the city center, which I found quite convenient. There are no signs on the front door saying it is a youth hostel, but you can find it fine using the address.

I visited during the Olympics. They charged 25 euros for the roof (and 30 euros for the dorms)! And I got no reciepts for anything!

The hostel was difficult to locate, but once located, it was near many shops and places to eat and be entertained. A 25 minute walk from the Acropolis. There is no hot water anywhere, except in the shower, which are .5 euro for seven minutes of hot water. The rooms were clean, cable TV, 24 hr check in, common rooms, and free city maps. The only real complaint I have is the lack of hot water, no hot water faucets in the bathroom sinks or kitchen, only the showers.
