Hostel Ipanema is located in Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro, in a safe and quiet residencial location, just three short blocks from Ipanema Beach and next to the best bars and nightlife of Rio.

Cool atmosphere and friendly staff. The hostel is run by only LOCAL NATIVE BRAZILIAN PEOPLE, who speak English and Portuguese and hold a good knowledge of Rio and all its activities.

The house has 5 rooms. One Double Room, two 2 single beds room, one 4 beds shared room and one 6 beds shared room.

Easy transportation from and to everywhere, individual lockers with individual professional safes in the rooms, very clean and organized, 24 hour internet, breakfast included, fully equiped open kitchen, laundry service, bicycle rental and tours booked thru the hostel like Hang Gliding Tandem Flight, Tour at the Favela, Christ Statue, Sugar Loaf City tours, Tijuca Forest Hiking, Samba Shows, Football Games, Ilha Grande, Guided Bicycle Tours and many more.

ALSO AVAILABLE, a very good apartment for renting at the same location of Hostel Ipanema, in a different building, ONE BLOCK FROM THE HOSTEL IPANEMA and one block from Ipanema Beach. It is A one bedroom apartment with one king size bed, safe, living room, fully equiped kitchen, Cable TV, telephone, airconditiong, sauna, swimming pool, 24 hour concierge and security. The apartment is available for a maximum of two persons. A refundable damage deposit of R$500 is required at the check-in at the apartment. Breakfast is not included on the rate of the apartment.
