Big Hostel

BIG is an accommodation haven for budget conscious travelers of all walks of life. Guests have included international students, families traveling with children, for groups, elderly travelers, international and local touring bands, conference groups, school excursions, sports teams and of course independent backpackers/travelers.

The hostel is conveniently located 5 minutes walk from Central Station with an easy stroll distance to Darling Harbour, Oxford Street and only a few blocks away from the heart of the city, theatres, cinemas, parks and many entertainment venues and local attractions.

The hostel is made up of 4, 6 & 8 bed dormitories as well as singles, doubles, twins, triples and family rooms for travelers who are looking for a little privacy. The dormitories are spacious rooms with noise reduction, double glazed windows, air conditioning, crisp white linen, woollen blankets and Sealy's hospital grade mattresses for comfortable night's sleep.

The hostel is very spacious with large communal areas, 16 ft ceiling height, top of the range fittings, giant plasma screen TV and suede couches for the ultimate comfort chillout. The building is also equipped for disabled travellers. There is a rooftop BBQ dining area with views of the city. We have in-house laundry facilities and 24 hour stainless steel large kitchen with plenty of storage space for groceries. Bag storage facilities are available. There is an in-house café and a travel desk for all your local, interstate or international travel needs. Free bike use and movie nights.

Dorm prices start from $24.00 per night.
Private en-suite rooms start at $72.00 per night per room.

All prices include a light continental breakfast and later than usual checkout of 11am.
