4 Good one.
my personal opinion -- is it is filled with enjoyment and at the same time there will be lots of friends whom you can enjoy, go for a outing, picnic, or opt for a party. Hostel life is filled with joy and happiness and is full of adjustment.

5 Wonderful place!
While in New Mexico last month for a yoga retreat, I happened upon a remarkable place. The Circle A Guest Ranch and Hostel is a two-hundred-acre paradise nestled between desert badlands and the San Pedro Wilderness' ponderosas. In the 1920s and '30s, as easterners flocked to northern New Mexico's enchanting landscapes, Circle A was a hunting lodge that rivaled the natural splendor of Ghost Ranch. In 1954 it came into the Bartlett family and operated as a girl's camp until 1978, when it became the guest lodge and hostel it is today. For a low rate you can stay in the grand adobe hacienda or in a comfortable yurt. Use the kitchen all day, enjoying complementary pancakes in the morning. When not exploring the ranch by kayak, on foot, or riding bareback with resident horse wranglers Kenny and Claire, you can visit the adjacent national forest, Chaco Canyon, Jemez Springs, and Cabezon. I am so enthusiastic about the ranch and the fascinating folks who work there!

5 My fondest memories as a child were of my sister and I visiting my Grandparents' ranch in Cuba which always included extended visits to the Circle A Ranch and the Wolfe family when it was being operated as a summer girls' camp. This was in the sixties! My son was born in 1977 and when he was nine years old we visited the Circle A Ranch-Hostel and reminisced with Alice Wolfe. My childhood memories of this beautiful, expansive Hacienda and the exquisite natural landscape and sprawling wilderness area did not fail me. Well over twenty years had passed since my early visits, I walked back in time and was able to share this special place with my son, Justin. My son and his wife are expecting a baby girl this Christmas. Perhaps someday she too will experience this magical place in the Land of Enchantment!

5 My mother and I stayed at the Circle A Ranch Hostel on our way back from a long road trip to the Grand Canyon. I have to say that our time spent at the Circle A Ranch Hostel was the perfect finale to our "trip of a lifetime." Once we arrived at the hostel we instantly realized that your decision to vist Cuba, NM was totally worth it. The ranch is gorgeous, and the charm of old buildings takes you back in time. My mom absolutely loved the quaint rooms! Everyone was friendly and treated us just like family. If you're ever remotely close to Cuba, NM, you've got to make a trip to the Circle A Ranch. You'll love it!

4 It sure was beautiful and cool in August. I loved just wandering the acres of sage and pinon. It's a great place to take pictures. There is a nice resaurant in town, El Brunos. The new managers are cool. We drank wine on the patio, met another couple from Texas and chatted into the night -- the ideal hostel experience.

5 I've been a regular guest at the ranch for the past 20 years and it's like heaven on earth. Many, many thanks to the family that continues to own and operate this very special place.

3 I stayed here two nights based on the great comments I read on this Web site. The place was nice and not very busy but I was bored out of my mind. There's nothing to do in town, if you could even call it a town. I guess if you do want to REALLY get away from it all it's ideal.

5 If you want to "get away from it all," have peace and quiet, and enjoy an old but well preserved hacienda, this is the place to come to. It has a lovely small but well stocked kitchen, a huge living room with a fireplace, lots of couches, and a stand up "red piano" in the corner. I especially enjoyed the short walk past a group of very gentle horses to a small lake. I am a photographer and this place is a photographer's paradise. I could go on for pages; you'll just have to experience it for yourself. Circle A will charm your socks off!!!

5 We had a lovely room and everything was clean. It was very quiet and peaceful; I would definitely go back for another visit. It is convenient to Chaco Canyon.

5 I visited Circle A for a yoga retreat a few years back and still think of that place. I slept out on their second-story porch every night, and enjoyed the sights and sounds the surrounding nature provided. Every day our group went for hikes. There's plenty of space for group activities or solitary walks. My favorite activity was showering in their cistern-fed outdoor shower. Such a great place, and great people running it!
