Location
Since the village of Capel Curig is not very large, the HI - YHA Capel Curig Hostel is rather easy to find. From Betwys-y-Coed, take the A5 to Capel Curig. The hostel will be on the right well before you get to the center of town. The main attractions here are the mountains. The brilliant castles of Edward I are all down on the coast, but who needs them? Mount Snowdon (pictured) awaits! After all, this is where Sir Edmund Hillary chose to prepare for his ascent to the top of Mount Everest.
