The University City of Århus also has 6 different theatres, a concert hall and a large conference centre. The Jazz Festival is held in July every year, followed in Septem-ber by ‘the Århus Week' – one of the biggest cultural events in Scandinavia. Beaches are found both north and south of the city, surrounded by forests which are hundreds of years old." • DANHOSTEL Århus is located in the middle of the forest, a few minutes from the beach. • Risskov is a suburb in the north of Århus. The hostel is about 5 km (3 miles) from the city centre, and 3 km from the nearest train station. There's a bus stop within 5 minutes walking from the hostel. |
