A great place to stay! A really great atmosphere! The staff are really friendly and helpful (they also take you to the best pubs). The location of The Groove is really good, near the river, near the Parliament and close to Nyugati Station. If you are headed to Budapest, stay at The Groove Hostel!

Excellent location, building, staff, cleanliness A very good hostel in an excellent location in Budapest. This is not a party hostel but a place to relax and have interesting conversations with other travelers. Their balcony has a fantastic view and feels almost regal. The only reason I did not give five stars was because their foot lockers are poor and there is some street noise which could be bothersome if windows were left open (fixed with some cheap earplugs).
