Hostel Mondpalast is located in Neustadt, a party zone. This is apparent when arriving during the night. The base level is a restaurant/bar with the higher levels being the large dorm rooms.

The greatest thing about this hostel is the large kitchen and dining areas on the above floor. The rooms are spacious and give a good vibe due to the decorative wall and ceiling patterns. The building was obviously well thought out and in a prime location for the night folk.

We offer you 24 hour reception service, no curfew, a big breakfast buffet - all you can eat, a big self service kitchen. In our bar we have internet access, every day happy hour. The stuff on our reception gives you lots of advices , tips and help to have an amazing stay in Dresden.

5 The hostel is easily find and is about ten minutes' walk from the Dresden-Neustadt station. The floors is well-decorated and so is the room. There are lots of cooking utensils in the kitchen and you can cook by yourself. The room is kept in very good condition and the heater works very well! The toilets are clean also. The hostel also offer high-quality food and drinks with a reasonable price. That is very good to stay in such an excellent hostel with this reasonable price! I love Dresden and enjoyed so much my stay in Mondpalast! Thank you for the nice staffs again!

5 The staff of Mondpalast is VERY friendly and helpful. The hostel is extremely clean and well kept. I would recommend this hostel to anyone that wishes to visit Dresden.

5 Great place to stay. Clean, good beds and prices were good, too. The walk to the center is not too bad. Staff are friendly and helpful. It's one of the best hostels I've stayed at.

5 Great hostel, plus it has a very excellent location at the edge of the hippest street in town, Louisienstrasse. There are ots of cool bars and restaurants nearby. Don't go anywhere else! It's super clean and super friendly, too.

5 Our first impressions of Hostel Mondpalast weren't great. The supposed "24-hour reception" didn't really come through for us when our bus was late getting into town. We didn't get to the hostel till 5 a.m., and we had to sleep in the doorway on the street for 2.5 hours before the cleaning lady grumpily allowed us to wait inside for check-in at 8 a.m. After this excitement, however, the rest of our stay was excellent. The reception staff were helpful, and the rooms and bathrooms were very clean. We made heaps of friends, encouraged by the spacious dining room/lounge area, and a busload of Italians who cooked us pasta and went out dancing with us. The location was great, within easy walking distance to good bars, clubs, etc. They had the best souvlakis down the road, too. I would definitely recommend this hostel. (Oh, and you have to hire bikes in Dresden - six euros for the day from the train station Neustadt. It's the best way to see the city!)

5 I liked it from an instant, it is friendly and the rooms are nicely decorated. The bar and kitchen are great and communication is a main thing here.
