WHY PEOPLE LIKE THE MELTING POT.
A home away from home.
Staff of the Melting Pot is very cosmopolitan: we come from France, Italy, Belgium, Croatia and Spain. We know exactly what it means to be away from home, so we'll do our best to make you feel welcome.
Our superfriendly and helpful staff speaks English, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese and Croatian. We are at your disposal 24 hours a day to help you and give you advice on the most interesting things to visit, the best places to eat tapas and to party, the more beautiful cities/beaches, on buses/trains timetables...Don't hesitate to ask Sara, Igor, Sergio and Romain for anything you need.

Our location.
The safe, clean, quiet and cozy "El Limonar" neighbourhood is the ideal starting point to explore the city. Beach is literally 2 footsteps from the hostel, Gibralfaro Castel's bus stop is in front of the door, the bull ring is at 10 minutes walking, and the nice, characteristic "Pedregalejo" neighbourhood is at 10 minutes walking too. The next street "Paseo de Sancha" is very well connected with all the city, buses run day and night.

The hostel itself.
The hostel is small, cozy, familiar and clean. Rooms are large and nice, the kitchen is fully equipped, the big lounge and the bar are set up to meet other travellers, and the terrace, overlooking the shore, is the perfect place to catch some sun and chill out (you'll never forget the view of the sunset/sunrise from the terrace!)
Something is always going on at the Melting Pot. George cooks delicious homemade food and Luis serves very good cocktails every day.

It's a well decorated place, where you immediately feel at home, or at the very least as if you're staying at a close friends house. The staff is very welcoming. - Fatima from Sudan.

Very charming hostel - not a huge warehouse. Main downtown is about 10-15 min walk, but beach proximity of 1 min. Is great. - Lawrence from USA.
