Emus Beach Resort is a friendly backpacker resort located across the road from one of the beautiful beaches that overlooks Great Keppel Island. Emus has NO BUNK BEDS!! and offers Beach House Dorms from $25 per night with shared facilities (3 in a room), Resort Dorms from $28 with private facilities and private tv's (4 in a room) to Private Double Rooms with Ensuite, Balcony and TV from $80 per night. All of our beds are comfy, inner spring mattresses to ensure a great night sleep. Emus has a licensed bar, swimming pool, outdoor entertainment area and large common area with fully serviced kitchen and dining room. The Emus Beach Resort mini bus is part of the Greyhound service, so you can book your Greyhound bus direct to Emu Park and be dropped at Emus reception. Emus staff are very friendly are always happy to help guests book onward travel or just ring and confirm your bookings at your next stop. Whatever you need, we're here to help.

• Emus Beach Resort is located in the beachside town of Emu Park, which is approx 40km's from Rockhampton. Rockhampton is the major city for buses, airport and train stations. Emus Beach Resort bus is part of the Greyhound Australia network and guests can book their travel direct to Emu Park, via the Greyhound website. Emus staff are Greyhound agents and can manage the booking for you, if you'd prefer. If travelling by rail or air, please call reception on 1800 333 349 to organise a pick up. Depending on your length of stay, a small charge may be incurred.
• Guests driving to Emus Beach Resort from the north: when coming into Rockhampton, turn left at the lights towards Yeppoon. When approaching the roundabout in Yeppoon, turn right to Emu Park. Travel for approx 10 minutes and Emus Beach Resort is on the right hand side, 1 km before you enter Emu Park.
• Guests driving to Emus Beach Resort from the south: when coming into Rockhampton, turn right at McDonalds (follow Emu Park signs). Travel over the bridge and turn right at the lights (follow Emu Park sign). Travel for approx 30 minutes. When entering Emu Park, turn left at the roundabout towards Yeppoon. Emus Beach Resort is 1km on the left hand side.
