Description

Sarong is located away from the mad touristy area of Pantai Cenang.
We are in a small fishing village and close to the Langkawi Cable Car and Telaga Tujuh / Seven Wells.
What used to be a Chinese shophouse is now a small cosy comfortable hostel for travellers visiting Langkawi.
We enjoy meeting people and sharing our knowledge of Langkawi with them and that's why we've created this hostel.
Getting around is pretty easy in Langkawi...you need to rent a car or a scooter/motorbike and you can get around the island. Talk to us about what to see and what to do while you're here on holiday.
When you come to stay please be polite and friendly to all including other guests and shopkeepers here too.

If you're coming from the Ferry Terminal in Kuah or the Airport, head towards the Sheraton hotel and look for a yellow sign on the right side of the road that says, "SJK(C) MIN NAM". Its the signage for a local Chinese school. Turn into the street before that sign and go further til you see the only two storey house in a row of single storey houses. Sarong is white in color and you'll see it right away.
