Our lodge is located in Paraiso de Cartago on a hill on 1500mts above sea level. We offer a great view to the Orosi valley. Enjoy hiking, trekking or nature tours in the area surrounded by big active volcanoes, rain- and cloud forest.
Birdwatching and spanish is also available.
For activities we offer canopy, rafting, canyoning, mountain biking, botanical & coffee tours and much more.
The lodge has a community kitchenette and a safe parking. We offer a pick up for $US 2,50 from Paraiso town to the lodge. Also you can walk for about 30min from the bus station.
Every 30min is leaving a public bus for $US 2 from San Jose to Paraiso town directly.
All rooms have a private bathroom with hot water and a terracy with its great view for the sunsets.
We offer also weekly packages for the area.

Location

• The lodge is located in Paraiso de Cartago which you reach by the airport crossing San Jose to Cartago city - the old capital. From San Jose it is about 20km.
• Here you drive direction to Paraiso/Turrialba for another 7km to the central park of Paraiso. From the traffic lights by the park drive right about 600m straigth until the fire station ("bomberos de Paraiso"). Here you drive left 800mts until Picacho Restaurant & Tourism complex - in front you drive in to the lodge by a dirt road 500mts.
• There are several signs on the road.
