Located in the heart of Ochheauteal's entertainment area and only a short walk to Ochheauteal and Serendipity beaches, 'Serendipity Beach Hostel' in Sihanoukville consists of one three-story dorm block and five single-story blocks of rooms of part wooden construction with grass roofs, giving them an air of rustic charm! In the centre is a pleasant communal area with a wooden mushroom-shaped grass sunshade with and table and chairs in a nice garden setting.

Security lockers are provided for valuables in the main building, which is open from 7am until 1am, padlocks available for purchase.
Our Travel Services Office is linked to Koh Rong Travel – the biggest diving company in Sihanoukville offering all levels of dive courses. There is a dive instructor present during the day for advice and information and all courses can be booked directly through our travel services office at reception.
Island ferry tickets and accommodation are also available for Koh Rong, Koh Rong Samloem and Koh Ta Kiev.
Various activities such as fun buggy tours, minigolf, horse riding and paintball tournaments and day trips to the waterfalls are also available.
Onward travel to all major destinations in Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam with reputable bus companies during the day and night can also be arranged.
We take the safety and security of our guests seriously and the Hostel is surrounded by a 2-3m high metal fence with razor wire on the top to stop intruders from gaining access to the rooms. The gate is locked at night and a security guard from a reputable security firm is present from 11pm until 7am. Unregistered guest are not allowed on the property after 11pm. There are three fire hoses on the property and roof sprinklers on all the grass roofs for fire fighting and prevention, fire extinguishers in the restaurant and Hostel grounds and in every room.

• Serendipity Beach Hostel is located in the heart of Sihanoukville's entertainment area; Ochheauteal, which has the most popular bars, restaurants and venues. We're only a short walk from Ochheuteal and Serendipity beaches and the pier that the ferries to Koh Rong and Koh Rong Samloem islands use.
• Downtown is only a short ride by Tuk-Tuk and the bus station is just a bit further.
• Kbal Chai waterfall, Victory Hill/beach, Hawaii Beach and Otres Beach are also easily reached by Tuk-Tuk, as is the Airport.
• By Car: The road presently enters Sihanoukville from the west and you should drive through town until you you to the Golden Lion roundabout, which is a prominent landmark in the town that everybody can direct you to should you get lost. Take the second exit and drive up Mithona Street past Monkey Republic on the right until the road bends round to the left. Go straight on, effectively turning left onto Serendipity Beach Road and we are just a few metres along on the right.
• From the airport: There is a shuttle bus service or just take a Tuk-Tuk!
• From the Bus Station: Just take a Tuk-Tuk!
• We don't recommend renting a motobike or scooter as it is illegal for tourists to ride without licence and insurance and can result in severe penalties in the event of a (highly likely) accident.
