Here you’re surrounded by wild mountains, an active agricultural area, historical museums, old churches, fruit trees and valleys with small and beautiful lakes.Groups and individual travelers are welcome at Nordfjord Hostel. We have in total 134 beds and 61 rooms; 48 rooms have their own bathrooms. We offer 1-bed rooms, 2-bed rooms and family rooms. A single bed in dorm is offered as well. Here you may make a delicious dinner at a fully equipped guest kitchen, relax in the TV room or have fun-time playing pool or foosball. We offer free parking, internet and a healthy breakfast buffet. We also have simple and functional meeting facilities for up to 30 people at great prices. You will find all the necessary equipment you need for executing the meeting. If you are interested we also provide banquets and catering.
Gloppen’s favourable climate has made it the county’s foremost agricultural area. The well-tended cultural landscape bears witness to the active role of agriculture in the area. The result is the excellent quality of local meat, milk, fruit, berries and herbs. The forest in the area is also home to a large population of deer. And there is therefore every opportunity to join a hunt or to enjoy a meal of local game. Gloppen prides itself on its beautiful, varied nature which offers great opportunities for memorable experiences. Enjoy nature in peace and quiet or get out and use nature actively by hiking among the well-known summits such as Gjegnen, Ryssdalshorn and Eggenipa.
