"Lacking in warmth of welcome due to absence of the hostess. - Good things first. A splendid private oasis beside the rushing river Aude with mountains as a backdrop. Truly splendid! Good food, spotless accommodation, and a knowledgeable if gabby control freak by the name of Chris. He cooks, cleans, and entertains his guests -- and does he rabbit on! "… years We have double and twin rooms. The twin rooms have en-suite showers.The master bedroom leads directly onto the balcony overlooking the river, we have a pretty garden with 50 year old vines giving perfect shade to relax with a book or just listen to the river flowing by. Or go down to the lower terrace and fish for trout! The views are perfect for painting.
