Casa de Beija Flor is a self catering lodge situated in Tofo, Inhambane District, Mozambique. Casa de Beija Flor is nestled in the indigenous coastal bushes 300 meters from the Tofinho (Surfing)beach and 400 meters from the main Tofo (Swimming)beach as well as all of the dive centers, bars, restaurants and local craft and food market. The facility can be accessed by any type of car and is within 5 minutes walking distance of public transport.
Casa de Beija Flor contains two self catering chalets. Each chalet has a furnished outside viewing deck and braai/barbeque facility for those special fish and prawn meals. Inside each cassita is a lounge and fully equipped kitchen (Stove, fridge, kettle, cutlery,crockery etc), a main bedroom with a king sized mattress, a second loft bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with shower, toilet, wash basin and bath. Water in supplied by the Local Municipality and is pressurized throughout the lodge. Hot and cold water is supplied and the water is drinkable without boiling. There are amply electrical plugs both inside and outside for laptops and other devices.
Bedding including sheets, pillows, pillow cases and duvets are provided and will be changed every three to five days depending on guest's preferences.Houses are cleaned twice a week and if guess wish they can ask for a daily cleaning service at an additional cost. When guests are on site there is a twenty four hour guard service on the site and Phillip the trainee manager can be asked to do shopping for items such as fish, vegetables, other consumables at the local market as he gets a local rate which is far cheaper than what tourists are charged. Transport can be arranged to pick up or take guests to the airport in Inhambane 25 km away and car rentals as well as boat, surf board, canoe and kayak rentals are also available.
