The Kamemi Campsite and Village is located in the district of Seccagrande
di Ribera, a few hundred metres from the sea, on the southwestern
coast of Sicily. It can be reached driving on the State
Highway SS15, exit Seccagrande. The Campsite Village rises on a
green plateau, with a luscious green Mediterranean patch over a
surface of 48.000 square meters.
The Kamemi has been classified with 4 stars, it offers 160 modern
and comfortable parking spaces to accommodate caravans and
tents, which include electricity outputs of 6 amperes. Each parking
space is spacious but fenced, covered and with a good shade.
Provided with toilets for men, women and disabled toilets, free hot
showers provided with solar panels system. Washing areas with
basins available for laundry. Camper Service provides easy access
to discharge grey and black waters.
Kamemi Camping & Village offers a nearby modern-style pizzeria
and a traditional Sicilian restaurant, where one can find typical
dishes of the Mediterranean cuisine, fresh fish every day and seasonal
fruits.
Also available, a self service eatery, video games and a snack bar
where one can find cold drinks and homemade style ice-cream according
to the Sicilian tradition.
Kamemi Campsite has 2 swimming pools, a spacious solarium, tennis
court, soccer court, parking space and a nightclub that offers
dancing lessons with instructors that teach Latin American dancing
styles, group dance sessions and participation to the evening shows
and theatre.
Kamemi also offers the possibility of various entertainments with a
discreet and never inconvenient animation.
Kamemi provides mobile homes with 2 bedrooms, a living room
with kitchenette and sink, a fridge, a bathroom with hot shower, air
conditioning and heating. On the spacious terrace there is a gazebo
with facilities for barbecues and sink.
Kamemi is an excellent base camp to visit Western Sicily; few kilometres
away is Sciacca and its natural Thermae, the Acropolis of Selinunte and
Agrigento with the Valley of the Temples. The gorgeous beach of Scala
dei Turchi is easily reachable by car, likewise the Natural Reserves of Torre
Salsa and the Platani River; welcoming places, untouched and immersed
in nature.
