| Ort | •The Cottage is at the Eastern Point. • Please, make sure that you have the directions and the map with you. Neither the car rental nor the Ministry of Tourism can give you directions because the cottage is not located in one of the tourist areas, Cable Beach and Paradise Island. • There is also no street name. • To give the TAXI driver a main direction, say: • PRINCE CHARLES DRIVE EAST to the BEACH • • Note: There are no local buses from/to the airport. • Airport pick up available for $40. The drive will be along the Northern Shore at the ocean passing Cable Beach, Nassau downtown Bay Street, the cruise ships, Atlantis Hotel and Paradise Island going into Historical Eastern Road. • DIRECTIONS FROM AIRPORT: • Drive out to the Main Road and turn right, keep going straight ahead passing Lake Cunningham on the left • Next big traffic light: turn right into Harrold Road • Keep going straight ahead over 3 round about until you reach the big traffic light where you see on your left across "Marathon Mall" (see 2nd attachment). • Here you turn right into PRINCE CHARLES DRIVE and keep going straight ahead until the end when you arrive at the BEACH. • Turn right • Turn left after the 3rd house on your left into a private road. • The cottage is straight ahead at the ocean. • OR choose the scenic and little longer route: • Drive out to the Main Road and turn right • Turn left into Blake Road • Turn right at the ocean, T-junction • Drive along the ocean, always on your left side • West Bay Street • Bay Street, Nassau Downtown • East Bay Street • Eastern Road (long road) • Keep going around the right bend until you see the PRINCE CHARLES DRIVE T-junction on your right and a small beach on your left • From here after the 3rd house on your left turn left into a private paved road between 2 tennis courts before going up the little hill • The yellow cottage is straight ahead at the ocean. • Martina: • Telephone home: (1)-(242)-327-7066 • Telephone cell (1)-(242)-557-2019 • Denise: cell (1)-(242)-425-9106 • oint of the island. |
