Set amongst palm trees and with traditional Islamic décor and murals by a local artist, Hotel Sheherazade is located on the beautiful West Bank of Luxor, a 5 min walk to the ferry and motorboats on the Nile, and a 15 min taxi ride to the major sites such as the Valley of the Kings , Hatshepsuts Temple etc. It is a 5 min boat ride to Luxor Temple which is directly opposite on the East Bank.
The hotel has extensive gardens with an outdoor restaurant. There are 2 schoolrooms at the end of the garden as Arabic courses are often given at the hotel, but the school and gardens are used for a variey of purposes for example Mediation and Belly Dancing Workshops. Our rooftop is often used for these purposes and has fantastic views all around - across the river to the Temple, the beautiful agricultural scenery and across to the Theban Mountains.
The 28 rooms offer a variety of double bed, twin or triple beds, or Family Rooms, all ensuite.
