Look for the big white building that says "The Great Western Hotel." The hostel sign is less obvious. It's about a fifteen-minute walk from the center of the town, but the hostel also has a pub -- which is nice if you don't feel like trekking around looking for something to do in the evening.

It is the highest youth hostel in England and Wales and it really is in the middle of nowhere. To get there you really need to drive, unless you are walking the long-distance Offa's Dyke footpath, or cycling on of the many routes in the area.
