The closest rail stations to the YHA Kings Hostel - Dolgellau (approximately pronounced "doll-GETH-leh") are Barmouth across the Mawddach estuary or the Morfa Mawddach stop on the near side. Be sure to notify the conductor if you want the train to stop at Morfa Mawddach, or else from Barmouth cross the pedestrian bridge at the mouth of the estuary (pictured).
