"I stayed in this hostel in March 2005 and I just can say that it's great! The staff are very friendly and the best thing is that it's pretty clean! I love this place and I hope someday to come back to Hilo and stay there!" … "The first hostel I stayed in and I was taken surprise at how clean, friendly, and organized the place was. "Hawaii is beautiful, but these people are not - I stayed there a couple different times in the last year. Its an affordable place, if thats what you're looking for. Hawaii is gorgeous no matter where you go, you can camp almost anywhere for free. The Hilo Tropical Garden should be called the Hilo Tropical Trailer. The staff is who work there are some of the most soul sucking poeple ive ever met. theres this one kook who wears daisy dukes and thinks he can heal people. he gets mad if you dont believe in his mumbo jumbo BS.
