"Mediocre hostel - The location definitely great. This is the only hostel located right on Ocean Drive, which is beach side. The lobby and the room i stayed at (room 1) had a ocean view from the window, which was beautiful! The entire hostel was one of the cleanest, most modern hostels ive stayed at, and ive stayed at close to twenty around the nation. Free internet on two computers were very handy. "The Santa Barbara Hostel falls easily into one of our worst experiences, despite a few good points. The management seems to not know a thing about treating guests well -- it was a horrible experience, but it was cheap in a time of need, so there is that.
