"A hidden jewel - Three of us stayed here in 1986 and to this day, I have only the fondest memories of this hidden jewel tucked away in the northwest Spanish countryside a bit off the beaten path, thankfully! We came to Solorzano by accident -- the hostel in Santander was closed for repairs, this was the nearest place, and sunset was fast approaching.
