"HI - Mitake - Mitake YH Hostel is situated in a quiet village perched on the mountain with the only access being the cable car or a long, but well-paved walk to the summit. Hence the prospect of a raging nightlife is zero and most will be in bed by 8:30 p.m., especially if they have attempted the five-kilometer hike up to Otake-san past the waterfalls and through the rock garden.
