"The best place I stayed at in Japan - I just returned from a 3-week trip to Japan, and Nikko Guesthouse Sumica was the first place I stayed at. I stayed at some pretty great places thereafter, but they still fell shot of the hospitality I enjoyed at Sumica. Sato and Kumiko, the proprietors take such a personal interest in their guests, and basically treat you like family.
