The... "Having visited hostels all over Ireland I must say that this hostel is a gem. In the last couple of years the hostel has been almost completely renovated and now has outside covered decking overlooking the courtyard -- warmed by an outside fire that serves to keep the midges at bay and has the advantage of allowing you smoke in comfort (a rare experience in Ireland now).
