Landmannalaugar Anderes"Landmannalaugur is a superb place. It is difficult to get to (even the buses have to have 4 wheel drive), but what a better way to spend an evening than enjoying scenic mountains and talking to holidaymakers.
The mountain hut is easy to find - as the bus pulls into the campsite (the only man-made thing in Landmannalaugur), staff from FI (the Iceland Touring Association) hop on the bus and explain the site's facilities and can take you across to the mountain hut.
