"Friendly and welcoming - I stayed here recently for a weekend, and despite it being quite formal (much intended for families and school groups), I found it an efficient and welcoming hostel. It's on the edge of the city -- about a fifteen-minute walk out of the town, overlooking the Rammelsberg hill, and well situated for hiking.
