I went to Skagen two summers ago travelling with the Blue Lake Fine Arts Band (a camp located in MI, US) and it was so wonderful! I loved the view off the coast at the northern-most tip. All in all, I had a wonderful time and spending a summer there sounds like a great idea. — StephanieMy daughter took my husband and me to Skagen in 2000 for a 2 day visit. It wasn't nearly enough time. She was an exchange student from Canada that year. Skagen was the first place she took us to. I can't get it out of my mind and I want to spend a summer there one year. The sooner the better. I LOVE SKAGEN. The museum is an absolute must see. I bought 4 prints. The artist colony from the turn of the last century was an amazing group of artists.
